Dregs

Hey Everybody!

Just wanted to tell everyone who may still come here that I have a new project I have been working on. I developed some sketches into a zine I recently put out called "Dregs." Just impressions of the general public throughout my experience in retail. You can find out all about it--including how you can get your very own copy in the mail with a secret foldout drawing(!!!)--here or by clicking on the picture below!

Wiard Faceplate

Now for some new work I guess. I have been working on a design for the faceplate of a Wiard  Synthesizer. This comes from my sister-in-law's father, who is really into building synthesizers and all other kinds of gadgets. He was working on a synthesizer, and decided he needed a unique faceplate on the design. He gave me some references so I could get to work. I ended up using the format of the one pictured below, and inserting my own objects.

Below is my version. Lots of brains, and a bisected brain-stem. What he will end up doing with this once I get it all inked up and broken down to flat-black flat-white is etch it onto the faceplate.

Spring Break

Spring Break has begun. Today I hung out with my girlfriend and my friend Kat and did some print screening! We did a bird design and an Ol Dirty Bastard design. Check it out!

Here is a group of birds. Kind of wish I used more yellow, but I can always do it again.

ODB!

Tattoo Design

My friend Kat asked me to design a Florida themed tattoo for her. She gave me a pretty good outline of what she is looking for and I just went from there. I came up with two different variations.

This first one is more in line with what she wants, with the text going down the east coast (which makes sense seeing as we are on the east coast). Here it is:

For the second variation, I decided to put the text on the left hand side lined up with the bottom of the heart. Also it helps to balance Florida's panhandle. With the text on the right (as in the first variation) I felt like it pulled too hard to the right. What do you all think?

Edit here is a third:

So which is it; 1, 2 or 3? Any and all feedback is appreciated!
